Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Almadina Language Charter Academy. If you are a parent or family member, volunteering is a great way to be involved in your child's school community and will contribute to their success. If you do not have family members at Almadina, we welcome you to our school community and the opportunities our unique school represents. Almadina Language Charter Academy operates as a public charter school with an emphasis on English language acquisition. We have two campuses: Mountain View serves K-4 students and Ogden serves grades 4-9 students.
All volunteers are required to:
1. Submit a Volunteer Application Form (click to download the form, please submit a hard copy to the designated campus)
2. Complete and submit a Criminal Record Check - Calgary Police Services normally charges volunteers for their Criminal Record Check. To receive 50% off the cost of completing this check, please contact your designated school and request a volunteer Criminal Record Check letter. As of January 2019, the discounted cost was $15.00, this cost is subject to change.
