Almadina Language Charter Academy always value partnership.  We are constantly looking for sponsors in the community to support our events and extracurricular activities.

Ogden Playground Project:

During the 2023 summer break, Almadina Ogden campus will undertake the construction of a new, interactive, age-appropriate playground to replace the aging, structure that was there previously. Interactive and creative play is very important in the development of our students, and we are looking to our school community for some assistance. Schools are not only a place for educating our children, but they are also a safe place for creating friendships, and letting them be kids. Playtime is as important as book learning.

The Government of Alberta has stepped in with a grant for assistance but for us to achieve the playground of choice, we find that we must continue to raise the shortfall in funding and seek assistance from the school community.

It is our intention to construct an age-appropriate obstacle course/interactive playground, quiet natural space with seating, and do much needed repairs and improvements to the basketball courts and field. The costs incurred for such an undertaking on the behalf of our students, will exceed the grant funding we have received from the Government, so we are making a request to you, the school community. Donations add up to make a big difference in the outcome of the project and together, we can work together to create a place of pride for our children.

Any donations can be sent directly to the Board Office, marked “Ogden Playground’ and will receive a tax-deductible receipt.
