Jamal ElRafih's educational odyssey began as an (EAL) student at CHHS (Calgary High School). His determination and unwavering commitment to learning led him to not only graduate from CHHS but to pursue higher education in a field that would ultimately shape his professional life.
He pursued his passion for mathematics and, following his graduation from CHHS, attended the University of Calgary. Here, he earned a degree in Applied Mathematics, further honing his analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Mastering Educational Leadership:
Understanding the importance of leadership in shaping the future of education, Jamal continued his academic journey at the University of Calgary, where he earned a Master's in Educational Leadership. This was a pivotal moment in his life, providing him with the knowledge and skills needed to effect meaningful change in the education sector.
Professional Roles and Achievements:
A series of progressively responsible roles have marked Jamal's career in education. He started as a dedicated teacher, inspiring students and imparting knowledge. Over the years, his leadership qualities shone brightly, leading to his appointment as Vice Principal and later Principal of a prominent school in Alberta, Canada.
During his tenure as a principal, his school was recognized by the CD How Report as one of the top 13 schools in Alberta. This achievement highlighted Jamal's commitment to academic excellence and his ability to foster an environment conducive to students' growth and success.
His journey in education did not end there. Jamal continued to climb the educational leadership ladder, eventually becoming the Superintendent of Schools in Alberta, Canada.
